As a supplement to the current winter seasonal service between Orlando and Amsterdam, the daily service between Amsterdam and Tampa, which begins on October 26, strengthens Delta’s Florida-Europe network.

On October 26, Delta will begin daily flights for the winter season between Tampa International Airport (TPA) and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS).

“Delta is providing travelers with an opportunity to experience the finest of both Europe and America through the seamless connection of Tampa Bay’s well-known beaches with Amsterdam’s bustling international hub—Delta’smostheavily trafficked airport in Europe,” stated Matteo Curcio, Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India at Delta. “We offer top-notch amenities and a vast global network, making winter travel a delightful experience for tourists.”

By adding to the already-existing winter seasonal service between Orlando (MCO) and Amsterdam, this route expands the airline’s Florida-European network. Additionally, Delta offers year-round service from Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), Detroit (DTW), Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP), New York (JFK), Portland (PDX), Salt Lake City (SLC), and Seattle (SEA) to the Dutch city.

The best beaches in America are also only a short distance away for passengers departing from Amsterdam on this flight. Delicious food, a lively nightlife, and wonderful experiences in the sun and by the water can all be found in the Tampa Bay area.

Four product experiences will be offered by the new service, which will run on Airbus A330-300 aircraft: Main Cabin, Delta One, Delta Premium Select, and Delta Comfort+. Customers of Delta One can unwind in a lie-flat seat and take advantage of first-class amenities like luxurious bedding made from recycled plastic bottles, a wider selection of beverages, and a four-course meal that is specially prepared by a chef each season. With a wider seat, a deeper recline, and an adjustable footrest and leg rest, passengers flying in Delta Premium Select will have more room to unwind and spread out.

In addition to a large range of in-flight entertainment options, including free mobile messaging and onboard Wi-Fi, all customers can take advantage of Delta Studio movies, TV shows, music, podcasts, and more.

Through KLM’s vast hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, passengers traveling on Delta between Tampa and Amsterdam will have easy access to over 100 cities in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and India.

Travelers’ options for connectivity to and from Florida are further improved by Delta’s joint venture partners. Miami and Paris are served by KLM and Air France, while Virgin Atlantic flies to London Heathrow (LHR) from Miami and Tampa as well as Manchester and LHR from Orlando.
